Confidential - Implementation of the BBZ approach

As part of its strategic plan, the client wanted to work on its indirect cost structure and implement a performance plan coupled with a budgetary approach. In this context, we assisted it in setting up its BBZ (Base Budget Zero) approach.

• Step 1: Definition of the perimeter - Confirm the perimeter and establish an initial diagnosis to frame and size the programme.
  
• Step 2: Visibility of expenditure - Establish transparency on who spends, how much, on what?
  
• Step 3: Targeting savings - Analyse the data from the diagnostic to identify and quantify cost saving initiatives.
  
• Step 4: Budgeting the savings - Incorporating the savings into budgets and defining new ways of working.
  
• Step 5: Control and monitoring - Establish governance, business processes, key performance indicators and tools to sustain savings.
