Summary of issues
As part of an interim management assignment within the finance department, we assisted the management control department with the following aspects
- Structuring of the management control departmentManagement control: following the departure of the former head of management control, the management wanted to review the processes and organisation.
- Support for the deployment of an ERPIn the context of the harmonisation of tools between the various sites of the group, the management wished to be supported in order to facilitate the deployment on the site.
Solutions and actions
- Step 1: Diagnosis of the site's activities and interview of stakeholders within the financial department with the drafting of a report of astonishment and identification of the "Quick Win" to be implemented.
- Step 2: Drafting and implementation of procedures to improve the monitoring and steering of the site's activity.
- Step 3: Definition and improvement of tools and indicators for monitoring the site's performance: Productivity, Stocks, Headcount, etc.
- Step 4: Framing and drafting of functional specifications to guarantee the homogeneity of the ERP's operation with the other sites.
